Kaupthing Edge Question
Robster88
I am in the process of opening a Kaupthing Edge savings account (currently waiting for the sort code etc). I am a non tax payer as I am a student and don't earn above the threshold and was wondering where I would have to send the R85 form. Does anyone know the address to send this sort of thing to?
Cheers.
Cheers.

As far as I know it goes back to KE,who then don`t deduct tax on the interest.
Can`t you request this online at the KE site when opening the account?

I was in the same position, simply print off the R85 form from the HMRC website (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/r85.pdf) and send it to:
Kaupthing Edge
PO Box 9403
Nottingham
NG9 9DR
Not freepost im afraid, but hope that helps.0 -

Kaupthing EdgeIn case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
I'm a postgrad student (doing a PhD). I get x 000 £ tax free, so aM I still eligable to fill in the R85??
Thanks0 -
AFAIK you're no different to anyone else. When you fill in the R85, you'll see that the first sentence points you towards the helpsheet.
Or you can use the calc:
