  • Went to IKEA last night for the first time.

Went for 4 specific things - left with none of them, but 4 other items which I didn't know I needed.....

I liked the Swedish foodmarket and the garden centre bit.

BTW - big bags of frozen prawns £3.50 - bargain! Unfortunately, freezer is full to overflowing so didn't buy any this time.

Have to go back at some point as window blind does not fit. Pah! Will pick up some prawns then

I saw the Boot sale advertised in this weeks Citizen so it should be on.

I am looking to do a boot sale in the summer and wondered whether the MK Bowl one is any good? I mean....what time do you have to arrive, are you hassled before you even set up?; etc. OR....does anyone know of anywhere else that does a regular one so that I can go have a look round before comitting myself? :happylove

Has anyone been over to the B&Q near Comet?... heard someone saying it is the biggest in the UK?

Have they closed the Bletchley one down?

The new one near to Comet is very big, not sure if it is the biggest one though. plenty of parking and loads of space, you could easily get lost in there!

Bletchley is still open, they have signage up advising IKEA customer not to park there.

  • Just come back from B&Q at Bletchley, bought lots of shrubs that were reduced to 50p! Also had some nice strings of lights (flowers, butterfliesetc) that were marked down to £2.98.
