JSA while self employed

One of my sons is working full time plus also runs a web-based business.It runs at a loss, but my question is - what if he loses his job with the bank ? Will he have problems getting JSA?

    He'd be better off claiming Working Tax Credits alongside the Self Employment for being on a low income.

    ok ty. no income at all from the website, and maybe tax creds take time to come through ? he'll end up eating his cat.
