you're going to end up with triggers old broom at this rate!Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0

No disrespect OP - but I wouldn't have a Mitsubishi - parts are soooo dear.
Mistake, in my mind, was going to the dealership and paying their labour rates.
I'd go elsewhere and get an independent quote. But getting it fixed in next few days is a bit tricky, most good places will be booked up (we are for next 2-3 weeks). Bet stealership has the time tho. Wonder why ..

draining a brake system is no big deal , once its on the lift any garage will have it re filled and bled in minutes
theyre ripping you off...a local independant may charge as low as £35-40 an hour vs dealers are nearer £100 and i cant see the part being £500
but i guess if its been towed there and you need its too late now, best learn from the mistake and find a decent local guy thats honest for next time0 -
As a dealer we charge about £50 for a brake sytem fill and bleed, so even by comparison with a dealer Mitsi is expensive.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Thanks for all the advice folks. An expensive lesson learned it seems. Steve, the part is £300 new, from our research, plus two hours labour.
Markelock, triggers old broom would certainly be cheaper (and probably more reliable.) If we're real lucky, it may even have brakes LOL.Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
Don't throw away food challenge started 30/10/11 £4.45 wasted.
