  • How about this one... a microphone and some big speakers. Oh, and earplugs, really good ones.

Because the server maintenance broke the smiley links ever since weekend. It's the same for everyone (unless it's cached). Plenty of thread about it already.

    Hi,
This may sound terrible but I want to cause deliberate interference on my neighbours speakers! They've been playing loud music since 11am today & it's made a picture fall off my wall, my laminate floor is vibrating & I can't hear people on the phone (top it off I run a business from home & because her music is so loud, callers can hear it so I should have a broadcasting licence!!!).

Might be a bit tricky to get, but a British Army ground patrol is usually pretty good at it..
  • play her at her own game....get the biggest system, and wack on some banging Gabba techno...this will drive her nuts. if she comes round wait for her to start talking, cut her off mid-sentence and say 'wait a sec....sorry, this is my favourite bit' and bop away in front of her. she'll either get the message or think your mad. xxx
  • Ahh...but they'll only trash the place, stay 3 hours to annoy her, then leave!

Although if true to form they'll refuse to sign the damage chit ;)

It's a great thread, glad you liked my input! :)

I remember many years ago a comedy-drama starring Hale and Pace, where one attached speakers to long poles, and hoisted them over their neighbour's fence to blast them out with music at some un-Godly hour, always made me laugh!
  • I know of someone who hired a PA system to play country music at high volume to noisey neighbours.
