Hi there
My husband receives IB and recently had a medical to ascertain if he should keep his award. Thankfully, he was awarded it and today received the first payment since his notification letter. The letter had no figures on it and we assumed all would continue as before (£301 per four weeks). Today's payment though, is for £397. How come??!

How old is your husband, and how long has he been claiming for? Was the amount exactly £397?
It sounds like he has gone on to the long term rate plus an age addition xGone ... or have I?0 -
It wasn't exact - there were some pennies too - can't remember exactly how much. He is 34 and has been claiming for approx 1 year.0
