When ive payed off my Virgin CC, should i cancel it or stick with it for a while - it has got a good credit limit on it, and i might want to use this in the future but i would like to have the 0% on BT for 15 months again - can you only get that if your a new customer or can you ask virgin if they will give you the deal again - so i dont need to cancel and sign back up hoping they will give me the same credit limit

Do not close it. MBNA are one of the best providers for special offers. I've had 0%/0.9% APR from them (almost) continuously for over 4 years.
Although you won't get 15 months again, you may get up to 12 months and a BT fee of anywhere from 0% to your standard 2.98%.
You're free at any time to apply for another MBNA run card (you can hold up to 5 at any time), and switch the limits around to suit whatever deal you get on one of them.0 -
So i could potentialy apply for another Virgin (mbna) card - hoping that they give me the sameish credit limit - and get the BT offer of 15months again?0

You won't be able to obtain another Virgin Money card because you can't hold two of a kind with them.
However, there are several other BT cards offering from 6 months to 13/14 months 0% and with BT fees from 2% (max £50) to 3%.0 -

Which cards are MBNA?
You cannot hold two Virgin cards at the same time, but there's nothing to prevent you applying for another card issued by MBNA (e.g. Alliance & Leicester, MBNA itself, Sony), once you've paid off your Virgin balance.
That said, if you only have a couple of credit cards in total, it's advisable to apply to a different lender. There's no shortage of 0% BT cards at the mo.
I would definitely keep your Virgin account. If you cancel, there's no guarantee you'd be handed the same generous credit limit a second time round.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -

No, apparently the national average is 5 cards per person, and some people on here have gone into double figures. Another one wouldn't do too much harm IMO.0 -
would it look bad tho, if trying to apply for a mortgage? - or do they just look at ur credit rating?0
