New tyre advice - runflats

I need 2 new front tyres for my Mini Cooper S, which has runflats. The BMW/Mini dealer have quoted £330 for the 2, using the standard fit Dunlop SP Sport 9000s. I've had a look on the internet and blackcircles.com are offering the same tyres for £286.50 for the 2, or Pirelli Eufori runflats for just under £230 for the 2, fitted at a local tyre centre. Either way, there is quite a mark-up in the dealer price!

So, I have a couple of questions:

Is there anything special about the fitting of runflats - is there any reason why it would be better to have them fitted by the dealer, rather than an local independent tyre centre?

Would Pirelli Eufori tyres be a suitable replacement for the current Dunlops? (Both tyres have a rating of 4 stars in blackcircles.com

    I would look here:

Runflats are harder to fit because of the reinforced sidewall of the tyre and some less experienced fitters have damaged or scratched the wheel facing and rim.

Both Pirellis and Dunlops are standard OEM fitment so there should be no problem changing from one to the other.

And a decent independent tyre garage will have infinitely more experience of fitting tyres than a franchised car dealership that probably won't even have them in stock.

Get cheapest quote and go back to main dealer and ask them what they can do.

I priced up tyres via black circles £97 fitted. Dealer quoted £116 said I could get it done for £97. They did them for £90 and washed the car!!

Most BMW/MINI main dealers will farm out the work anyway to a local tyre firm.
