When I visit my sister in Australia we buy the most delicious eggnog in cartons from the supermarket. I have never been able to find any in this country. I have tried several homemade recipes but none tastes just like the cartons ( or it just might be that I cant make it properly) Anyone know where I can buy it ( save travelling 13000 miles)

Well thanks Aussielass, but I am actually going in 2 weeks, but I make a real pig of myself when I'm there because I know I cant buy it when I get home. I dont bring any home though, i dont think it would travel well.

Yes, that is what I buy in bottles. Just add lemonade :beer:0 -
No, Eggnog is not the same as Advocaat. Thats a snowball, --Advocaat, lemonade and lime. Eggnog is creamier and as far as I know, it's not alcohol. Am I right Aussielass?:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

Sorry I dont know what it is then. A snowball is advocaat with lemonade and lime added and advocaat is a thick, sweet, gloopy yellow drink.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
