Hi guys,
I’m going to have a look at a mates PC, i’m slightly more clued up than him. I’m betting he has no antivirus, firewall or adware/malware protection. Once i download various protections can i run them at the same time or will they clash. It’s just to save time as some of these scans can take forever.
Thanks

Don't install or run more than one anti-virus package, they'll conflict with each other and cause all sorts of problems.
However various anti-spyware scanners can be useful, but don't run more than one at once.0 -
I know not to run more than one antivirus or firewall.0

Running scans all at the same time is REALLY never recommended as it can burn your hard drive out with it jumping all over the place
I dont think they CLASH as such but its better to be on the safe side isnt it?:idea:0
