In my freezer I have a bag of Ginger Cake crumbs. It's about half a cake, crumbled up. I have no idea why I didn't slice it into portions and freeze it as this would have far more sense but I now have no idea of what to do with it - any ideas?
Personally I'd try it in a biscuit base recipe, even one which calls for digestive biscuits. I've no idea how well this would work, it might make for a softer base than usual.

Or I'd put it into a bread pudding recipe. Maybe reduce the spice levels.

I've defrosted portions of lasagne - what would you do to reheat folks? I'm always unsure about microwave times and scared I poison everyone. We have a day out planned for tomorrow so I need to make sure it's reheated! I usually end up reheating in the oven but don't want this to dry out.
    Thanks for help!

In the absence of other helpful replies, try 2 minutes, stand, 2 minutes, test. Increase it if you put more than one portion in at a time, and I think you might need more than that, but I'd do another minute at a time only.

Too late to help you with this lasagne now, I know, but in case you try again in the future: I always reheat food covered, and on a low micro setting. I would put a family size lasagne on at about 30% - 50% power, and cook it for at least 10-25 mins.
I always think that a big mistake people make when using a micro, is using it on full power for either too short or too long a time. So, using it on the lower power means it will take longer, but you have much more control, and it's still a cheaper power source than the cooker top or oven. hth.

The Slimming world recipe thread seems to have disappeared, or am I just blind?
