  • Dont know anything about that particular site, however from looking at it (a) they are too cheap to be genuine (b) they actually dont look like real uggs from the pictures (c) dont think i would buy from somewhere that took western union as a payment method!

There is a guide on this board to place that sell genuine uggs.

Hi, sorry to read you are worried about this site. As previously mentioned its a dubious website. I will tell you why I think the boots are fake, looking at the sand tall classics on the pics, the side image of the boot they are too steep to the toe, genuine uggs are rounder the fakes tend to look pointy. The bottom of the sole at the heel where its smooth, seems too long. The heel label looks crinkly not smooth. Looking at the black ones, they just look poorly finished in the pics, the sole looks slightly too thin and in all colours just poorly cut and rough looking. To me the boots just dont look 'right'. Other MSE's have asked about this site and members have managed to put them off buying. Added to the payment options they offer, the gmail address and no contact details I think the site is supplied with cheap chinese copies I have no doubt you will receive boots but I really think they will be fakes.

I really dont know what to suggest, maybe contact Paypal and ask them for assistance or contact the gmail for the site advising them that you strongly believe the boots are fake and that if they do not cancel your order and refund your payment then once the boots arrive you will be sending them to Ugg for verification that they are genuine. And will take legal advice to recover your funds. If I was you I would be trying every possible method to get the order cancelled. I hope this helps you I'm sorry its probably not want you want to hear. I'm not an Ugg expert really, but I have bought so many pairs for myself and friends and I wear them all the time that to me the fakes just dont look right, I have 3 pairs on my floor and even though they were bought from different stores and at different times they are consistent in their look it makes me sick that these people get away with just opening sites selling their dodgy fakes for unsuspecting buyers, in fairness without a pair to compare them or just knowing how Uggs look it is hard to tell!

Sorry about the big pictures, cant work out how to resize them.
From the ebay guide on spotting fake uggs it mentions the sole and how it should be flush at the heel, pic on the left immediately above text is a real ugg sole, right is a fake ugg. Top picture is from the website you have bought from. From the picture of the sole i would say they are definately fake.
Try and cancel your order ASAP!!!

  • Have you made any enquiries with Paypal yet? I would do as soon as you can.
  • Just to add... if you click on the deails of the transaction to the company in your PayPal account, scroll down to where it says 'Resolution Centre' and then 2 options will come up. You need to select: "Item dispute: I did not receive an item I purchased or the item I received is significantly not as described"

(That's of course if you don't recieve the boots, or you do and you are not happy)

    :)

Can I cancel a payment that I've already

    sent?

Question : Answer : You can only cancel unclaimed payments. If your payment is complete, please contact the recipient of the payment to request a refund.

Unclaimed payments can be cancelled for the following reasons:
    • A payment sent to an email address is not associated with a PayPal account. Once the email address is added to a PayPal account, the payment is automatically credited to the balance of that account
    • A payment is sent to a recipient with an unconfirmed email address. For security reasons, PayPal can only credit payments sent to a confirmed email address.
If you cancel an eCheque payment or Instant Bank Transfer, PayPal cannot cancel the withdrawal from your bank account. The amount will be credited to your PayPal account balance.

    info_sm.gif Here's how: pixel.gif
    1. Log in to your PayPal account
    2. Click the History subtab
    3. Click Cancel in the Action column of the transaction in question
    4. Click Cancel Payment
    5. You have successfully cancelled the payment
You need to cancel that payment NOW! after that you are reliant on the company refunding you, and that would be unlikely to happen.
If your to late to cancel an unclaimed payment i would suggest if they are fake you contact paypal, at the end of the day these companies should be stopped from ripping off other people, and i am sure Paypal would not like to be associated with these type of companies.
    Good Luck

  • Even if that does not work, charlotted84 can file a dispute after she has recieved the boots. Or if she doesn't get them at all, she can also file a dispute. This method will take longer, but I've done it before with an item (an Ipod case actually) which never turned up. After a week or so, Paypal refunded me. Good Luck :)
