I sorted the kids clothes out recently and for the first time since they were born:eek: I am happy with the amounts. I decided on quantities from another thread about kids clothing and I liked the numbers pigpen had given. I just tweaked it to suit my own kids and they now have
    10 pairs pants
    10-12 pair socks
    4 pyjamas
    5 bottoms
    8 tops
    2-4 cardis/jumpers
    2 swimming costumes
    3-5 sets of school uniform

Anything short sleeved that will still fit next year has been packed away. Everything else has been passed on to relatives kid/given to charity/put in recycling.

In - over 100 boxes of contents from my storage unit

Out - some of the box contents to rubbish, others to go to charity/Freecycle. The good news is that I've now cleared my storage unit and am £170 per month better off :D:eek::D, so that's £170 per month NOT on my out list anyway.

Thank goodness we installed that electric hoist to get boxes into my loft and now the boxes are here I can start going through them one at a time.

In: Some more christmas presents, santa outfit for son
Out: finally, that bag to charity, some more detritus found in a drawer over the weekend... Diong it a drawer/cupboard at a time is really really good. I find I can actually tackle it all now.

Having been on bed rest for a few days I've not made much progress. However:

    In:
    a new suitcase
    xmas pressies (nearly there)
    xmas crackers

    Out:
    some clothes to recycling
    a broken suitcase
    some broken toys
    more paper to recycling

Feel like I'm keeping an even keel at the mo - but would prefer to be making headway :( However, this week I have masses of housework to catch up on from being unable to do any last week - eek!

Took a load of recycling to the dump yesterday - the stuff they don't collect - and did some more sorting.

Target for this week is to list 10 things through small ads at work...

I haven't really participated on this much but here's my progress for the week so far:

    IN:
    New carpet! :j

    OUT:
Old nasty carpet from previous owner :j

And hopefully we'll soon be adding some furniture, so we can finally unpack the rest of our stuff from our move in July (!), and then we can also take out the cardboard boxes!
