Nice thread! I've been decluttering my room recently, all old clothes being sold on ebay, old games also sold.

Alot of old junk thrown out and i did find a cornet instrument which i'm going to sell and hope for around £20 so fingers crossed there!

:j I have just completed two weeks of avid wombling, which has resulted in a massive declutter. I've been keeping tabs on what has gone out to motivate myself, so:

IN - ten cardboard storage boxes

OUT (to recycling or rehoming where possible):
    • 43 bin bags
    • 17 boxes
    • 2 rugs
    • 7 pieces carpet
    • 12 bags magazines/paper
    • 1 TV stand
    • 1 broken dishwasher
    • 2 bean bags
    • 1 inflatable chair and sofa
    • 1 quilt
    • 2 boxes books
    • 1 desk
    • 1 prehistoric stereo
    • 2 cushions
    • 4 lamps
    • 2 bedside tables
    • 7 pounds of surplus human, worked off on three floors of house stairmaster ;):D
This is made up of the extra stuff we had when we moved in together, and never got round to shifting. We now have a virtually empty new sitting room on the first floor and a proper store room on the top floor for things like Christmas decorations and items that are used occasionally.

Next project: wardrobes (after a few days off to recuperate )
  • Well done Hollyberry - very impressive.

    Well done Hollyberry.

Last full week of the school holidays, so I will be flinging like crazy this week. Can't fit in any more big projects, but have got 2 rooms decorated. Planning on giving the house a good clean and getting organised for back to work.

    IN nothing

    OUT general household rubbish.

    Good Luck everyone.
