I was just coming on to ask the same question! I've won as well, but not sure how many others have too.

Sounds like quite a fun evening though, and I'm free that night so will definitely pop along.

    I won a pair too...hm...should i go?....

Edit: I think I will go. Free that evening and the morning after.

Silly question this, but why did you all apply to win the free tickets, if you can't / don't want to go? There were no points attached to applying.

Errrm, good question, I am actually in London quite a bit so thought I might have been able to go, doesn't look like it now.

According to the site, "This offer expires on Saturday, December 31, 2005". Does this mean that Boots is not going to be a permanent fixture on Pigsback? Does anyone know how long these vouchers are valid for and can they be used by someone other than the person who orders them?

I would say that the offer expiry date probably has something to do with dates on the boots vouchers themselves. A lot of vouchers have use by dates. As for someone else using them, as far as I know, anyone can use boots vouchers. These won't be any different from normal boots vouchers - they won't have your name on them! If you want to give them as Christmas pressies, it will be fine. :D

That is news to me. Most of the vouchers I have used in the past have not had expiry dates on and I have used all sorts Kingfisher group , boots etc.

I know with some gift cards like the Asda ones will charge a fee if you don't use the card with in a certain time frame. Like once a year.

That's why I said "I would say...". The other possible reason is that PB wants to make sure there's a call for these vouchers, or they've only ordered enough to last them upto the end of December? I know the problem with the L2S vouchers was that the company would not allow them to purchase the amount they needed, as they were a new company without much credit history to go on. Could be that Boots is doing the same?

I have seen vouchers with use by dates.

I have seen vouchers with use by dates.

And that is why I said "Most of " did not say all. I had some kingfisher group gift vouchers ones only 3 of 4 months ago and they did not have an expiry date.

I had some WHSmiths gift vouchers that my MIL had about 2 years before she died and they did not, as I used them after her death.

I would assume the dates are there for us the users to know that the vouchers are going to be on the website until that date and it might well be extended after that point who knows.

Mind you I did not think that boots did paper gift vouchers any more, it is gift cards now. So I would assume rightly or possibly wrongly that they are choice vouchers which if they are like the L2S highstreet gift vouchers they have no expiry date on them. And if they are choice gift vouchers then you don't just have to use them in boots :D .

I thought gift vouchers did not have expiry dates as people might not want to spend them straight away or even forget them have for while.

But hey will have to wait and see when mine arrive. Fingers crossed soon.
