Two of the most important elements of credit scoring, ie income and expenditure...which together determine affordability, are missing from the list of questions. IMHO, the 'smart search' isn't very smart at all.
This is strange. I went on and did the Smart search too.
I haven't got a missed payment, have 4 credit cards and applied for 2 credit facilities in past 6 months - and still came out only as "good".
But it did suggest to take out the Capital One card too and as you say, you need to be Excellent to get that one.
Though in many previous threads has been mentioned that even people with Excellent scoring don't get accepted, so it's all very strange.0
