Obtaining multiple licences for Windows XP Pro

We (well, my OH!) needs to obtain at least three licences to run Windows XP Pro. He has spent ages this morning looking online at where/how etc and has found it very confusing.
Has anyone got a clear idea of how/where etc is the best place to do this? We need at least three licences.
He's found XP Pro for £275, which will only have one licence with it, and obviously we'd like to spend as little as possible on licencing all three machines.

The "licence" itself is no longer the media but the small, hologrammed COA that is affixed to the side of each machine.
These can be purchased fairly cheaply from Ebay..........you can use the same CD to install XP Pro onto the various machines and it's all perfectly legal.
BTW, an OEM version of XP Pro should cost you less than 1/3 of the price you've mentioned? You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -

Oh no it isnt thats totally illegal.0 -
Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry to be really dense, but could you tell me in very easy steps what I have to do?
(Maybe I should have said in my OP that we were originally running an - ahem - illegal copy of XP and Microsoft have now sussed it out on the laptop, although the main PC seems to be ok. I suspect though that it's only a matter of time before they cotton on to the main pc. We therefore want to "go legal", and will want to put XP Pro on the main pc, the laptop and at least one, probably two other PCs.)
OH has looked at buying XP Pro with mutliple licences but couldn't see anything on the microsoft site on how to buy one copy of XP Pro and then obtain licenses to use it on various computers.
And (another embarassed face) can you tell me what COA and OEM are?0 -

nope, as long as each machine has its own separate COA, its perfectly legal.
Why do you assume it's illegal? You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky

Case in Point Bousefield Printers Longwell Green Bristol fined £65000.00 for not having
the proper Multi Licence User permissions as per seat and per session or either
also you will have to get a Mukti User disc from a MS outlet, its different
to XP pro and Home.0
