    Good morning everyone

I am now even more convinced than before that it is the morning routine that does it. Yesterday I went back to bed and when I eventually got up the kitchen was in too much of a state to get to the coffee pot-so I came in here and logged on. Last night, I sorted the kitchen so that all the dishes were stacked near the sink and I wiped down the counters and cupboard doors. I cleaned the coffee pot and filled the sink with bleach to soak the cloths.

This morning-I got up and put the coffee pot on, got the kids all cerealed up and off to school (those that needed to). Mum was impressed as the kids clothes apparently very rarely get ironed-I did that,DS1 also had a few missing buttons so I put those back on. Mum's gone off to get the younger ones settled back into the house now and I've done loads in the kitchen (will post my list next). My own DS slept through it all-and is still sleeping.

Thank you to those who said it was nice of me to do. I come from a line of battered women and my DF took me out of the same kind of relationship. The one thing that made me more depressed than living in that kind of environment was that people heard me screaming for help and never did come-I even had one neighbour who complained to the landlord about the noise:confused:

Having her here last night gave me a lot of insight into all the noise and such. She lives with her sister and some of her friends who are all at uni. The students obviously still live the student life and the kids have picked up on the rowdy behaviour. She feels guilty about the life the live so she feels guilty about disciplining them. I suppose their are tons of people who do the same-but she wants to do things differently. She joked about having me give her lessons in housekeeping.

I think I'll do some catching up on the thread after I post my list and then go find some more coffee

Denise did you get a reply from WW?

Sure did, Dusty. It seems that I didn't read the fine print - If I didn't cancel by the end of my free two week period then I automatically got billed for the next three months! Never mind, lesson learned. Hope your boy is doing OK and not having too many problems with his arm.

Have been at work all day - come home and cooked dinner, played with the dogs, folded washing, read some of my book, but not alot else. Oh, I did choose new glasses frames finally. Everyone I showed picked the same frame, so I chose them LOL Need to pick frames for my prescription sunnies next!!

Work tomorrow - two different jobs, Lab in the morning and printing in the afternoon. I am hoping to have Thursday and Friday for flying :)

Morning everyone, been busy over the weekend sorting the garden then hubby went out saturday for a bbq, no kids allowed so didn't go but he said he'd be home at 10 then it was going to pub and be back at 12, he rolls in at 3.30 then he's like a bull all day sunday and dosed with the cold this morning.

Passed my course (found out sunday) so thank goodness for that and i started my english and maths course yesterday and a space came up on another course i wanted to do so was in from 9.15-3 yesterday with no breakie and 2 cups of tea so next week i'm bringing lunch.

Bought a second hand car on saturday and there is this awful smell in it very musky so driving with the windows down, any suggestions on how to get rid off it would be great.

Right just got buns yesterday and took a big bite and it's green and fluffy, YUCK. Cuppa me thinks.

Dusty sorry to here about your DS's arm.
    Pink Fairy i wouldn't have a clue.
Pigpen glad you got the first day over ya.
Loopy Lou well done on your weight loss.
Toots thanks for thinking of me.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

You know, sometimes it takes something like this to happen to make you realise what it's all about - I often moan about people around me, but you never know whats going on in their lives and what has made them what they are today, I have very little patience and most things to me are pretty black and white - maybe I should look more at the grey... (oooh, bit deep for me there, blame it on lack of sleep... :rotfl: )

I am a great believer in you can be anything you want to be, if you decide to do something about it. Polka, you have proved it many times in the short time I have been coming on here, but please be careful, you are a kind and caring person, don't let people (not necessarily this one, but like your toxic friend) walk all over you...
