A or B rating oven?

Need to buy a new oven but cannot find info on the meaning of energy ratings. How much difference in electricty costs are there? What other factors should I consider? Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

The ratings are not that useful but in theory an 'A' rated oven should use less power than a 'B' rated oven.
I don't know if the ratings take into account how well insulated the oven is, or are just a measure of the heating element power. If just a measure of the heating element power then I would get a 'B' rated one as it will heat up quicker, but should not use more power when running as it is controlled by the thermostat. I would definitely choose a fan oven as they cook more evenly and quicker.0
