Anyone apply for their loan online?

Hey guys, I just applied for my student loan online (yeah, really late, but I only just switched to full time!). Anyways, I was wondering, did anyone else apply online? If anyone has, what do you need to send along with your passport and income info? Just your ART ID? The SFC website's far too vague with everything, I can't stand it! :mad:

I applied for my loan in my second year online so i didnt have to send anything as they already had all my details etc, maybe its worth just giving the student finance a quick ring and ask them? I assume it will be your art id and some form of identification and possibly proof of address, ie bank statement. Sorry cant be much more help, im sure someone who knows what they are talking about will be along soon!

Once you've filled out the form on the student finance direct website the last page will have an evidence summary which tells you what you need to provide.
When I did mine this year I had previously had a student loan in 2003 so they still had some details for me. I therefore didn't need to provide my passport but the evidence summary requested my wedding certificate and a letter from my doctor to explain my special circumstances.

Oh, you're both right- I've got everything I need here from their site, and another website telling me what to write on a cover letter. Thank you for being so helpful guys!
