Is 8x DVD+RW media available yet?

It's quite difficult to search forums for "8x DVD+RW" - most will return that all the terms are too short to search for!
Anyway, my NEC 3540A writer is supposed to write DVD+RW at 8x, so where do I get them? All the usual places I buy media only sell up to 4x. I did find one link to 8x discs at a suspiciously good price:
http://digitalkind.co.uk/Inu_products/INU_ProdDetailsL4.asp?ref=27883188
Given I can't find these anywhere else, are they for real?
If not, whats the fastest DVD RW media you can get right now?

Not sure how many you need, but I recently bought some Octron DVD+R 8X Speed (SP120min 4.7Gb), from Lidl at £3.79 for a box of five in slimline cases.
Also 7dayshop are selling a similar product for £1.19 but there is P&P to consider.

I've used these for a long time and speak very highly of them, burned hundreds of DVD's and CD's of the same brand, I reckon I've only ever binned 2!
Search for them on ebay to get them a bit cheaper.Treat others as you would like to be treated :A0 -
Try finding the Holy Grail of all discs DL DVD-RW!
If anyone has please let me know.0 -
To expresso and zincoxide - I was after rewritable DVD+RWs at 8x not standard recordable discs (which I regularly buy 16x), but thanks anyway.
PeteMC - I don't think there is even a standard for dual layer rewritable discs yet so the hardware isn't even available let alone the discs.0 -

The hardware certainly is available as my Pioneer DL DVD Recorder testifys to. However the fact that there are no uniform standards for DL DVD-RW may well explain why I can't find any! Not to worry as the DL DVD -R are expensive enough.0 -
Check the NEC forums at CDFreaks to see if there's any modded firmwares which will allow you to burn DVD+RW at higher speeds.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Unfortunately the overspeed technique seldom works on RW media (even CDs) because of the way rewritable discs work.0
