Just keeps 'buffering'

For some reason my windows media player has to keep buffering too.
it never used to do that before and now every 3-6 seconds it needs to buffer ive tried the tricks on this thread but no luck any other suggestions??

im experiencing the same troubles on you tube, sometimes it works and other times it every 2-6 seconds its reallly annoying
