  • Mrs Bunnyinthelights kindly requests the presense of Miss Bookseller (Bookie to all who know and love her) at the Manchester Meet on the 28th of February, the year of our Lord 2009 as she is a lovely, kind sweet lady who needs to spend some 'quality' time with her new bezza mates (that's us DFW bunch) 'cause we admire her greatly. We accept that she 'may' want to bring her spade to fend off Lenny and any other drunken louts and that we 'may' have to partake in singing of Brownie songs after a few Bevvies.

    Please PLEASE come Bookie!:D :D:D:D:D:D

    Snaggles! Have I missed something....did you get your shift covered?
    I've managed to swap to a day shift (I only do one evening shift in a blue moon but of course it happened to be THAT weekend). My parents are having the kids all weekend so I'll set off from Leeds about 3.30-ish, and will hopefully be there around 6pm (I know it doesn't take THAT long to get to Manchester but I'm thinking of parking up somewhere en route and getting the train in, so I don't have to drive into the centre.

    Get yourself up Booky, I'm sure you can get a travel partner too. I am sure one of the ladies staying in the hotel can spare some space for you too. Ive got a single bed in mine and have offered to countless people, failing that, I will have a big car and when the back seats are down its quite spacious :D Here's my hymn:

    And did those feet in ancient time
    Walk upon England's mountains green?
    And was the holy Lamb of God
    On England's pleasant pastures seen?

    And did the Countenance Divine
    Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
    And was Jerusalem builded here
    Among these dark satanic mills?

    Bring me my bow of burning gold;
    Bring me my arrows of desire;
    Bring me my spear; O clouds, unfold!

    Bring me my chariot of fire!

    I will not cease from mental fight,
    Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
    Till we have built Jerusalem
    In England's green and pleasant land.
