Wirral Freegan/Skills Swap group?
Hi all,
I'm thinking of starting a freegan and skills swapping group for Wirral. Have googled loads and found nothing, does anyone know of any that already exist? Is this something that would interest people locally?
All feedback welcome.

yes to the skills swapping, helping neighbours out etc- no to the horrible scavenging food. Buy it like the rest of us or lobby that it be given to people in genuine need ie salvation army.Compulsive Spendaholic #150

thats not me being judgemental there was a lot of media interest in that programme and the child was deeply unhappy and ostracised by his peers.
In answer to your question no I don't think it would work in the wirral and I found it very distasteful that instead of working and paying taxes these Freegans would basically live a free life, yet still have full access to NHS etc without contributing.
Think what you want about my views but I honestly don't think it would work in this area.
