Extend capped prices?
Options
I am on capped gas and electric tariffs until march 2009 and recently received a bill with an over estimated reading. This made me think that rather than have the reading corrected, I would be better off the more in front the estimated readings got. With current estimates, by the time March comes round I will be about 6 months ahead on meter readings (assuming the meter is not read). This effectively means I will have paid for those units in advance at the capped rate until Sept 2009.
Providing the customer is able to control readings for a year or so without being read by supplier then slowly reduce to correct reading is this a way to extend capped prices? Is it legal?

Asked several times.
No it is not legal, it is deception with intent to defraud.
Impossible to prove however!!!!0
