Does an increase in DLA mean that your rent goes up ? And will it affect OH pension credit at all ?

Dla is not a means tested benefit and im sure it has no affect in anything that determines your income - its not an income - its designed to help you pay for things your disability needs, so wouldnt think so.:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0

depending on the rate of dla it can mean an increase in hb,ctb,i/s,and i suspect pension credit as it can mean you get additional premiums0

thanks for that ...it's very complicated isnt it ! I thought it would mean the opposite.Thats good ty.0

my post was meant along lines for it not reducing any benefits, but it does mean depending on your rate you can get extra...(in my case extra added to JSA):j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0
