I don't know about Mint, but I'm pretty certain that Egg's Ts&Cs do allow stoozing.
So the second option under point 2.4, direct bank transfer, does not have the pre-requsite of an existing debt.

After being refused for 7 0% ccs - I think it was back in May - I have now successfully applied for one ;D.
However, I have only just got the e-mail and online acceptances, I have yet to receive the credit agreement form.
When I receive my new Egg card - fingers crossed - I am planning to clear my little Mint debt of £626 and then I am hoping to stooze

When my Egg card arrives am I correct to assume that I proceed as follows:
phone Egg and BT from Mint to Egg
phone Egg and BT to my current a/c and then to savings for stoozing ;D.

Only if your Mint Card is not 0% on everything for a few months. If it is then you:-
Contact Mint and request Transfer & Save cheques, write one out to yourself and pay it into your bank account.
Contact Egg (Do it online, not by phone as that costs money;D) and SBT to your current account

When my Egg card comes through I shall transfer from Mint to Egg, because my Mint 0% deal has finished, and then SBT to my current and then savings a/cs.

I must be lucky because my Egg limit is 1k more than my Mint one I want to be a good saver, but I find it difficult to control my temptation to spend .
