Does anyohe know of anyone that sells decent chicken pakora that you can heat up at home in Lanarkshire/Glasgow. Our local takeaway has changed hands and is not any good now. I know Asda sell some but it's not very good.

I don't know how local you are to one but Aldi have started doing Pakora recently. You should find it in the chiller near the fresh sandwiches and the Rustlers style sandwiches. The layouts do vary slightly so you might need to ask someone.
I've not tried it myself to tell you how good it is, but it seems to have been selling really well at ours. As a member of staff that tells me it's either good or incredibly cheap (or both). I know it's £1.99 a pack, unfortunately I can't remember how big a pack is.0 -

Hi my local Londis (before recent house move) sold really good chicken pakora ready to heat in the oven, I also got similar in the Key store. Im sure these stores all sell the same stuff HTH:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0

Morrisons do a good chicken pakora in their chilled section. It's bright pink and has a lovely pink sauce to go with it. I think it's DD's (or something like that!) that make it. Yum!0

Basically all you need is to get bonless chicken and cut it into small pieces. Then need to make a sort of paste not too watery and not too dry kinda consistency of mayoinaise. To make paste need to get gram flour add lemon juice chili powder/black pepper depending on how spicy you want them and then a little salt. Can add water if it is too dry but not too much. Just dip chicken pieces in batter and shallow fry them for ten minutes. The smaller the chicken quicker it cooks. try not to put too much batter on it because then all you can taste is batter. Also if youre frying alot of pakoras then its okay to have a higher setting on cooker but if its only a few then need to lower the heat otherwise they'l burn. Erm... thats it i think lol its v easy you can do veg ones with onions and tomatoes etc in a similar way but you'l need to mix them with the batter and then fry it.0
