At the interview the OR will ask what the money on each card/loan ect was spent on. The key is to be honest and if you can not remember then say so,if it was for a holiday say so,i did and i was fine. They have to accept whatever explanation you give with the exception of trying to hide anything. Yes there are lots of questions but if you think an interview usually lasts about a hour there is only so far in debth they can go. They will ask why the IVA failed and again honesty is the best policy. BC is a big decision so best to take your time as once done there is no going back,,unless you win the lottery that is

Wouldnt it be nice to win the lottery, hehe. Do they look down on you if it isnt spent on certain things?? Even now I struggle to remember what it was spent on. Do they go thorugh all of your bank statements??? Questioning things that you have brought??
I know it is a big decision, thats hy all of the questions....I thought I had everything sorted in my head, but all of a sudden all of these questions are cropping up... And I need to sort it ASAP, as my payment comes out on Thurs and I dont want to pay them if I intend to go BR.....

hmmmm wonder how it would be handled if you won the lottery as an undischarged BC!! The OR would get the £££££."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Well I guess if you won the lottery you would not claim it and get someone else to, now how bad is that of me to say so!!Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0

i suppose if you won 2mill and owed 40k im expect the OR woudl pay your creditors and give you the remaining balance. And then I suppose your BC would somehow be dissolved as the creditors accounts have been settled (not that you would have to worry about getting credit)."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

I agree if you won that amount you would pay it all off and sleep at night!
Olivia I think from what people have told me every OR is different, even down to how much they allow! which makes things harder to advise on.
Some people here have said that they have not been asked for bank statements while others have been asked for them, and loads more information. I think it depends how simple the case is, or how complicated.
I think you need to get all the information you can find so you have it ready. Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0
