You can do this with Egg, Post Office Card or any card from the MBNA stable (including Virgin, Sony, Alliance and Leicester and MBNA itself).

In addition MINT periodically issues Credit Card Cheques that can be paid into a Bank Account at Balance Transfer rates. However this is the least satisfactory option because the cheques cannot always be requested so, unless they are already in your possession, you don't know precisely when they are going to drop through your letterbox.

Thanks for that, ive looked into the egg card and just wanted to ask will i pay the 3% fee on this? as i want to snooze this ££ and never done before. Any tips for a 1st timer???

They're known to hike your APR up near the end of your term so you need to make sure you either repay the card or transfer it to another one or you'll get stung.
