If you have CPS to Onetel (Line Rental still with BT) they are actually charging 10% more to call to phone 0844 numbers then BT do so EG: 5p number charged at 5.50
Avoid this by placing your 0844 calls through Bt by using the 1280 overide facility.
Another good reason not to change your line rental from BT.

They've been doing so for some time - pricefighter spotted it back in July.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=72952Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks Heinz .I guess if NTL users move to Onetel to use phonepal it would also be cheaper for them to use NTL for 0844 and not Onetel.0
