You should try https://www.abebooks.co.uk they have ex-library copies of book that they sell. If you don't mind not having a new copy, they can be lots cheaper then Amazon!:j Take That 23/12/2007:j :dance:0

amazon is expensive to sell.. eunibooks though was terrible as a buyer.. I actually tried to buy off there and then got told I couldn't for some unknown reason.. and unless more people use it it's not gonna sell anything quickly0

I stuck with selling my books on ebay, I got some good prices for them. I tried listing on these other sites setup specially for uni books etc I registered and listed my book like a year ago, then got a email 1 year later telling me someone wanted to buy my book which was long gone, as if im going to wait a year to sell them! I put them up for sale on ebay and they were snapped up within 3 days....! At least with Ebay your safer regarding making/receiving payment by using paypal, and being able to check the sellers feedback, I know you can check feedback on some of these uni book selling sites but it doesn't really compare.if i had known then what i know now0

I can't seem to sell my books. They've been on Amazon, but I find it annoying how theres a limit for a minimum price and one of my books was on there for more than I paid for it!
Anyway, none have sold and I assume they've been delisted, but havent heard anything.
Looking at ebay I cant see that the books would sell.
I will check out eunibooks later.0 -
There is a small site that was recommended on another thread, although it isn't specifically for textbooks. There are no charges for buying or selling any books.

Also worth a try in the free ads section of your local paper (local to your uni). This has a couple of advantages. No cost at all to sell/buy. If you get a buyer, they will be local so they could collect (no postage). Also, for someone doing the same course as you at your uni (a year behind you), they will likely need exactly the same books as you used for your course.
Even if you don't get a buyer, it will cost nothing to place the advert. So you wouldn't lose out in any way.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I am looking at the accountacy section of Eunibooks Click Here and am looking for a suitable book to "self teach" myself about the differing facets of accountancy that I will need to know in order to prepare my own "Full" accounts for my business.
I am a "Private Hire Driver" and have an accountant but I will want to prepare my own accounts into the future. Hopefully I will be able to create bestoke software which creates the accounts as I go.0 -
I sold some of my old text books a few months ago on https://www.greenmetropolis.com - it might be worth trying that as although the site is mainly fiction, non-fiction sell much faster as there are less copies so more demand.0

go to yourlocal uni and put up a for sale notice on a notice board, it is the best way.0
