Find out from your teachers which exam boards you are doing (ould well be different for every subject) and the name of the syllabus. For example, they might say AQA, Edexcel, OCR or Welsh (WJEC) and then a number for the syllabus or Spec A or Spec B. For Maths and Science you need to know if your course is modular or co-ordinated, also for Science if you're doing Single or Double award.

Then go to the website for the exam board, find your syllabus and look for support material. You should be able to find the past papers and mark schemes for most.

    Have you tried S Cool?

Also, you may be able to find mark schemes or answers to any papers you've done by typing the question into Google. I found a lot of A Level stuff that way, but I'd imagine there would be GCSE stuff to be found too.

The school chooses the syllabus so you will have to ask them - you could try the school's website, they sometimes say something like 'At Key Stage 4, students study for GCSE English following the AQA Spec A syllabus'.

I would still check with the teacher, they may have changed over to a new syllabus this September and not updated the website.

I've moved this over to the Student Board. Hopefully, you might find some more useful suggestions over here. :)

    Follow this link here
  • http://www.activehistory.co.uk/ is a website I used a lot at A-Level and my brother / sister both used for GCSE.
It's v useful for history and politics / citizenship and has lots of fun games to test knowledge. It's great for revision!

Edit: It appears you now have to pay :o maybe find out if your school has access to it? If not, hassle them, it's a great site!!

i know you want FREE revision stuff, but i strongly suggest you BUY the CGP revision guides and revise from them. it'l be money well spent, believe me! and then u can sell them off again to the future GCSE students or your teachers so they can use it/sell it, so you'l make most of your money back. it'l be like each book costed you a pound or to (depending on its condition).
