i tried ripping an audio cd via windows media player at WAV lossess quality, then burning it to a blank disc. however i now have 2 sec delays between tracks. is this to do with the WAV format and can i fix it by using say windows media lossless to rip?
or am i better off using some software to do a direct copy of the cd? if so whats a good one to use? free if poss!

In iTunes you can set the gap between the songs when you burn a CD. I would have thought there would be a similar option in Windows Media Player.0

you can use switch to switch which format you want to use then just use WMedia player to burn to a CD...
