debt support group question

Hi,
I am thinking of starting a debt support group in north london in a few weeks time.
I have been thinking of the format, like an hourly session each month where like-minded people (in debt) discuss how they will try and get themselves out of it. It will be anonymous and without judgement in the same way that the MSE board is.
My question is, what other venues could I host it in (for free) besides university rooms and churches? I will be doing a MA soon so I was thinking of starting it at uni and hopefully encouraging anyone, student or not, to join.
I also am having a problem with promotion: should I promote the support group at uni, in newsagents?
Any ideas?
Much appreciated, Debt Robot xx
