Closed my old Halifax CC but want to apply for another

in Credit cards
Hi
I have just closed my Halifax One credit card due to it not being used for over a year. This is because I took out another credit card with 0% for 10 months (Amazon also run by Halifax). I now want to do the same again but with , I think, the Halifax Plus Credit card.
Do you think my Credit Card application would be declined as I have closed down one credit card account to open another with the 0% interest for x years? The reason I do this is all my spendings go on there and the money that I would of spent goes into a high interest account.
Just wonder if it's worth bothering. I would prefer to stay with Halifax and have had nothing but good service.

Just wait 30 days (or a little longer if you can) from the account closure date, and then apply for the other Halifax card.
BTW, the 'Plus' card only has 0% on purchases for 3 months. I think you'd be better with the 'All In One' card, which has 10 months 0% on purchases.0 -
