wtc and working hours for self-employed

Hi All,

A friend of mine is asking whether as a newly self-employed the working hours of 30 or more when applying for WTC include looking for client/s and any other related business travel? Your answer is greatly appreciated here x

I am far from the expert but my understanding is anything like researching for the company, completing related admin etc can be attributed to business hours. I have no idea if that includes travelling for the comany?

I have a small business which I do 4 hours of paid work and 1 hour of attributed admin therefore giving me 5 hours a week work.

All hours spent seeking clients, travelling for busines related duties and completing admin work are classed as working hours.

Be honest in the hours being declared as TCO may ask for some evidence of the number of hours worked at any point. It is always best to keep a diary of hours worked. As a business, I would assume this would normally be done anyway.
