Can my son claim carers for me?

Hi my son who is seventeen and who is at college,he does 16 hours and looks after me also,i have been awarded MRC DLA ,can he claim carers allowance for looking after me,he also receives EMA?

yes he can! I did last yr ( well ALG) But the total amount of learning is limited to 21 hrs per week.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

Thanks mummy2to4 ,what does ALG mean?he will be doing about 16 hours in college and then he will be doing 2 study days at home ,do you think he would qualifiy?0
