Terms and Conditions

Open to UK residents aged 17 or over, excluding employees (or members of their families) of the promoter, their agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. No purchase necessary. Only one entry per person. Entry is achieved by visiting the www.hovisbakery.co.uk website, clicking the appropriate link and supplying your name and e-mail address no later than midnight 12.10.08. Third party applications will be invalid. The prize draw will be supervised by an independent person and will take place on 17.10.08. Winners will be notified by e-mail by 27.10.08. The winner of the UK weekend break will be the first name drawn at random from all valid entries. The prize offered is for 2-4 people travelling together, one of which must be over 18 years old.
The prize consists of a 3 nights self catering (Friday – Monday) cottage accommodation for 2-4 people. Groups of only one gender are on a request basis, acceptance is at the discretion of the cottage owner. Location options include Staffordshire, Dorset, Cheshire, Norfolk, Yorkshire, Shropshire, Devon, Pembrokeshire, Conwy, Inverness-shire, Cumbria, Perthshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. The prize must be taken between 1st May and 31st October 2009, subject to availability, excluding all Bank Holiday periods. Any possible amendments made by the UK weekend break prizewinner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges. The following 1,000 names drawn will win a free loaf of their choice from the Hovis bread range. The free loaf will be redeemable via a ‘free loaf coupon’ download link which will be supplied by e-mail. The promoter accepts no responsibility for automatic email replies being lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered or for any problems with communications networks which may prevent entry. The UK weekend break winner’s name and county will be available for 6 weeks by sending an SAE marked ‘UK weekend break winner’ to the promoter at the address below. Any tax liabilities incurred through participation in the promotion are the responsibility of the winner. The prizes are as stated, are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The promoter reserves the right to award alternative prizes of equal or greater value, should the original prizes become unavailable for any reason. Winners may be required to participate in publicity for this promotion, including attending a photo shoot. The promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
