MBNA payments query

I have an MBNA credit card which has 0% on purchases before Jan 09 and on purchases over £501 it 0% until June 09. I'd like to buy my train season ticket using the card and have already made some small purchases on it. In January I will probably owe £2,500 k for the train ticket and say £500 for smaller purchases. My question is if I pay £500 off the balance will MBNA take that off the £2.5 k or off the £500? I don't want to assume that I'll be paying off the £500 when they'll probably be taking it from the £2.5k which should be interest free.
I hope this is clear.
Thanks

See your personal T&C's...condition 2f.
MBNA have recently (last few months) been making some changes. Do not rely on the current T&C's on the MBNA website, as yours may be different.0 -
