HELP - INSURANCE ADVICE

I am a self employed fitness trainer, and I've just bought a horse. Cos riding is high risk, now I need additional insurance cover in case of accident.
The cost of income protection is extortionate I feel, given that the most expensive cover does not come into effect until after 4 weeks of illness of inability to work. Previously I had just been stashing more money rather than pay premiums for this, given that I've only ever been off for 2 days max in 11 1/2 years of self employment!!!
The personal accident benefit on my horse insurance only pays out a max of 50.00 per week. Pretty poor.
Is there anyone out there who can advise on the best thing to do here, with regards to saving most money.
Income protection insurance or personal accident insurance????
HELP!!!!

Income Protection sounds good. I know of a well-reputed income protection company called Pioneer Friendly Society. They give u cover from Day 1. Even if your off work from a cold. And also they give u upto 65% of your annual salary0
