1. I wouldn't really trust 3rd party scripts with my login details
2. Would probably break FB's TOS and get your account deleted.
It would never be getting the old version back anyway, it'd be a "fake" interface that's communicating with the current info."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

No, there is no way. Facebook have publicly stated that it is no longer being supported so you cannot use it0

I've downloaded IE 8 beta version which supports the old facebook and has new facebook disabled - for now
Not sure it's any good though yet - as a browser I mean

I thought old site was shutting down, I don't have option to swap on top of page now.0

Yep same. Well annoyed, I can't understand how to navigate anymore. Last time everything was spread out in different boxes. Now its just all bundled into one, like the wall is also with general update. I'm like no, you can't do that.0

Get yourself the greasemonkey extension for FF, then get along to userscripts.org and search for Facebook. Stick with the well-reviewed offerings and everything should be fine. Before I requested my account be deleted I was using a few scripts without any problems. Certainly makes Facebook less of a hassle when they have the urge to do some redesigning.0

You can still use the old version if you use firefox and the user agent add-in
In firefox download/install the useragent add in
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59
download the definitions for useragent
http://techpatterns.com/downloads/firefox/useragentswitcher.xml
install the xml by (in firefox):-
[Tools], [User Agent Switcher], [Options], [Options]
Section 'User Agents'
[Import], then select the xml file
go back into [Tools], [User Agent Switcher] and select MSIE 5.5 (Win 2000)
Launch Facebook and you should have the old layout
What you're doing is making Facebook think you're using a browser that doesn't support the new version0 -
I cant believe anyways bothered!
