hey, just been registered on a course at the open univeristy (DD100 if anyone else is doing it?
) and am currently waiting to recieve all documents letters etc in the post. i was just wondering do we get a student ID card or anything? for example, i was trying to access the education apple store and its wouldnt allow it as i wasnt on a uni server or whatever, but it said you can ring up and place orders, and you need a student ID, so i was just wondering if there is such a thing with the OU (i know there isnt a campus code or anything)

You don't get issued a student card , you only get a card if you join the OU student union.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

You can also purchase an NUS card for £10, once you are registered.
