I would not guess the Housing Benefit it seems high my partner and I are on sickness benefits and our total income including DLA (which is not included) comes to approx 13k a year and we only get £50ish towards Housing Benefits Per month (thats on a £340ish rent per month)."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

I know the back to work credit is only for one year, but after that you should still get working tax credit on that low income - may only be £20 a month, but its your money.0 -

Oh - and I forgot about haircuts!!!
Have you actually tried https://www.entitledto.co.uk to see what sort of help you should get with the rent and council tax?? You will need the LHA value you are entitled to in your area, that should be on your council website along with the council tax amounts (less 25%!) Its not perfect, but a more accurate guestimate than what we can come up with.0 -

Nope - not allowed birthdays or Christmas, they are regarded as luxuries - but there is a holiday fund that you are allowed (forgot about that too!)
So add a holiday fund of £30 too.0 -
