We are always reading about how worried people are about Banks and how well or badly they are doing. Some people are now very worried on every little bit of negative news, thinking their bank is about to go bust.
What are the most sound banks in the UK at the moment? and what are the week one's.

Investing in the stock market is more riskier than saving with banks or building society. I for one are fed up to the back teeth of the constant negativity about which bank or BS is going under. No wonder thread after thread is being repeated on here about bank safety, sorry no offence to your kind self.Liquidity is when you look at your investment portfolio and **** your pants0

Unless you are buying shares in banks (bad idea IMHO) you don't need to worry about this: bank deposits are protected.0 -
How about a Sticky for most sound banks?
I know there are a lot of threads but it's hard to search countless threads on the subject. Although many are safe it's still a worry.0 -
This post is not my worry about how safe banks are, as I now have spread my money in different bank.
But like so many off you I have noticed how worried a lot of people are, even though there is the £35,000 guarantee.
This guarantee is not putting a lot of people at ease.0 -
You could have a look here for what it's worth, though I believe it's about to be updated for this year. Should be interesting.
