Can anyone tell me why I lose certain channels on freeview when it rains. Is it just my set-up? Or does it happen to others?
I have a freeview box, a tv with freeview built in and a dvd recorder with freeview and they all lose the same channels.
If it is my set-up, how do I fix it?

rain degrades the quality of the signal , happens to sky as well
could try a bigger digital aerial to get a better signal
these sort

just using an amplifier on an existing aerial would any boost a poor quaility signalEx forum ambassador

It's usually caused by wet tree leaves in the signal path. Is your aerial pointing at a tree? If so, maybe you can relocate it?
Otherwise, try asking your question in a dedicated forum such as

No trees within half a mile in that direction.
I will look into maybe getting an amlifier of some kind.0
