  • I have just phoned to register for the free energy monitor offer, and left my name and address. I was then given a code by recorded message to put on my claim form. Just rang again to register for my mum, leaving her details and I have just been given exactly the same code! Anyone else had this happen to them?

Don't forget that if you buy one Rustler's with other shopping in Tesco, you may be able to use 2 of the coupons from the Star which will give you a £2.19 credit towards your other shopping as well as the free product.

Tesco allow 2 coupons if you buy one of the product so most cashiers would allow this, and if you have bought one Rustler's then the amount to input would be there for them on the till. You might be unlucky and get a jobsworth SA who says you can't use 2 of these MOCs as it's a free item anyway - but the fact is that their policy does allow for 2 of the same MOCs against one purchase of the specified item - and the policy doesn't differentiate where it's a 'free product' MOC.

When the free Panini coupon was around (which was similar but now expired) I used 2 of those MOCs each time I bought one panini in with my shopping, and no cashier ever said no.

The energy monitor (OWL) is a great tool to help discover the biggest electricity consumption culprits in your home, putting you well on your way to understanding how to cut your bills and lessen your impact on the environment.

  • As you only need 8 tokens for the energy monitor, it would be cheaper to buy 8 weekday papers than weekend ones.

Might NOT be worth £2.19 either. That's a maximum.

Just returned from Morrisons and a Rustlers Big One is ONLY £1.49

Our Tesco Express has them in at £1.95
