usually the cashire will enter this coupon manually. ie find out the price the store sells this product at and then deduct this from the bill manually. HTH0

In some famous supermarkets, you do not usually have to buy the product. On your way around the supermarket, have a quick look to see if the store stocks the product and at what price. At the till, let the cashier know the price if the product is stocked. He/She will then be able to enter the coupon manually. Do not be tempted to inflate the value of the coupon, as if the supermarket cannot claim the full amount back, it will tighten its coupon policy and all of us will suffer! HTH0
