Credit card for mortgage
Comments

It would appear that people have succeeded in making mortgage payments on their Credit Cards recently, so I suspect you may be able to do this. However the only way to be sure is to ask the provider.0

Any MBNA or Egg based card will allow you to balance transfer into your current account.0

no i havent even tried for 1 as of yet, but ive been offered me mum and dads other house for 40k - but want to get 50k so i can spend 10k on it - and just say im buying it for 50k, an when the money gets transfered to me mum an dad they give me 10k
I don't think you need to tell them you're paying 50k for it. I think if you tell them you're buying it for 40k but want 10k for improvements they'll be fine with it, so long as the house is worth that. If it's not worth that then they won't give you 50k either way.
There's probably another forum you should post this on as well (I can't think which off the top of my head but mortgages and tax seem likely). I don't know what it's valued at but even £50k seems really low these days, I'm not convinced that it's entirely legit for them to sell you the house too far below valuation. (It might just be inheritance tax if they die within 7 years that's in my mind but it's worth checking first)0 -
When I bought for the first time, my solicitor asked for proof of deposit and I had to send him a bank statement for the account I had the deposit money in.
Therefore you would probably need to be able to provide something like this pretty early on.0 -
if so, i could just SBT in to my account0
