I paid a subscription of £120 to MTVan website, but they have gone bankrupt due to Amtrax going under.
Is it possible to get this £120 back from my credit card company? I am unsure of the rules on their insurance etc

Open the transaction as a dispute. You'll only get the amount back for the service you've not received.
So for example if you received 10 months service and you paid £120 for 12 months service, you'll only get the 2 months service that you've paid for but not received.0 -
Yes you can and don't let them fob you off. It's the law!
Section 75 Consumer Credit act
http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/guides_to/credit_liability.shtml
For a credit card company to be liable, the cash price of the goods or service must be over £100 and under £30,000 and there must be a claim for breach of contract (or misrepresentation) against the supplier. If these requirements are satisfied, you then have a claim against the supplier and/or the credit card company.0
